The staff was wonderful, very helpful, and the breakfast was the best "continental" I have ever enjoyed. The Firehouse Resturant down the road is highly recommended also.

The staff were friendly.I liked having security around the hotel. The security person and desk personnel was helpful with different ways to see D,C,

I was surprised to find no parking available. I had to park on the streets the first night. I stayed awake half the night checking on my vehicle.They had very few parking spaces and it was first come, first get the parking spots. They tried to help, but once I finally was able to get a parking spot, we walked everywhere so our parking spot was kept at the hotel. We used their shuttle driver once, but whren we needed to get back to the hotel from Metro after walking around the museums all day, we were told that he left after 6:00pm. No mentain was made about this before he dropped us after off at Metro. We walked in the dark back to the hotel. Plus, no way to wash our clothes. We had to tote our clothes two blocks to a laundry.

Continental breakfast was a nice touch. So was the free internet.

Internet connection was rather slow. Room was not ready when I checked in (at 4pm; check-in time is 3pm). Had requested a non-smoking room but was given a smoking room; staff said they had 'sold out' of non-smoking rooms. Asked to be contacted if any non-smoking rooms opened up, but didn't hear from staff again. Rate given by bookings.com was the pre-tax rate; hotel taxes added about $60 to total (approx $15/night).

Convenience to DC and cost were major factor for staying here. Room was clean, beds were comfortable and staff was very friendly.

I would have liked to see bananas and whole wheat bread for breakfast to make it a healthier meal.

Wifi in the room didn't available. I didn't like the blanket, it's look old.

Great free continental breakfast, clean rooms, good location to the metro.

Temperature control in the room was difficult. the window allowed cold air in the room and there was no thermister to determine room temperature. It was either too cold or extremely hot.

Conveniently close to Metro for downtown access (1/4 mile walk); good continental breakfast (but cramped dining area); helpful desk people; van service to Metro on request, which is nice when the weather is bad or when dealing with luggage.

Mr. Rafael,a the front desk, was extremely helpful, professional and courteous. He goes the extra mile for the guests.

The status of the bathroom. The toilet overflowed twice. The hotel is now charging for parking and self-parking, although an option, was not available. We were forced to select Valet Parking, which is more expensive.

Noisy air-conditioner; cramped breafast area.

Breakfast is inside the fare, cleaning is everyday and very nice, there is shuttle service to silver spring metro station but you can also walk easily without big luggage, in walking distance to the downtown, pleasant and helpful staff, great faster wireless internet connection, plasma tv, clean bathroom, too much towels, hair dryer, mini soap and shampoo, microwave owen, mini refrigerator, tea/coffe machine (cattle), air conditioner and everything was working well.

Walking from metro station to hotel is frightening, especially after evening.

The location is execellent and the price was reasonable.

I had a confirmed reservation for a double, non-smoking room but when I arrived at the hotel all that was available was a twin, smoking room. The desk clerk wasn't honest in that he told me that I had booked a twin/smoking thru Comfort website, until I showed him the confirmation e-mail. He than changed his story to some other fabrication. Since there a convention in the area and it was late I couldn't find another hotel for the night. I will never book at that hotel again and I had stayed there an average of 2 nights a month the previous two months and was plannning on staying there every month for the next year.

Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft des Personals sind besonders positiv aufgefallen. Zimmer sind für NYC- und Washington-Verhältnisse recht groß, Entfernung zur U-Bahn ca. 800 m mit perfekter Verbindung in die Innenstadt von Washington DC
